Trail Rides are available by appointment only!
Are you looking for a way to unwind? Look no further than one of our guided trail rides! Take a break and unwind, while enjoying a guided horseback trail ride along a path on our almost 500 acres of beautiful trails found throughout the Capik Nature Preserve.
Our rides are offered as a Group or a Private experience.
Group Trails may consist of you, your party and other guests visiting the farm.
A Private Trail means your family or group of friends will ride with only each other and our trail guides. Your party will not be mixed with other guests visiting the farm.
English and Western Lessons are offered everyday except Mondays and Tuesdays, by appointment only. Our lessons take place with patient and knowledgeable instructors in 2 outdoor arenas as well as 500 acres of trails.
Helmets are required. We have helmets available for you to borrow, or you can feel free to bring a horse back riding helmet from home for your lesson.
2022 Summer Camp is currently accepting registrations! Camp is $525 per week . Pack a lunch and bring your sunscreen and water bottle because we have busy days planned with horse back riding lessons, trail rides (ages 8+), horse themed games and activities and arts & crafts.
Camp is for ages 6-14 and runs from 9:00-3:30. No prior horse experience is required.
Trail Rides are available by appointment only. We have helmets for your use or you are welcome to bring a helmet from home. Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled riding time. All riders must wear closed toed shoes. No crocs or sandals please.
Riding packages are a wonderful option for new riders and those looking to learn, all while boosting their confidence before heading out into the trails. The first half hour of your ride will be an instructional riding lesson during which you will learn the basics of riding, posture and control while on your horse. After the lesson you will enjoy a scenic guided trail through the almost 500 acre preserve.

Riding with peers while learning to ride is a fun and engaging way to meet people with a similar interest while mastering new skills on horseback. Group Lessons are available by appointment Wednesday thru Sunday. At Legacy we strive for your success as a rider and a horseman. We keep our groups small (2-6 riders per Instructor) and our lessons plans fun and engaging. We focus on fun and safe horsemanship both in the riding ring and out on the trails. You will need to provide your own helmet.

Private Lessons allow you to focus solely on your interests and enable your instructor to tailor the lesson to your individual goals. We offer both ENGLISH and WESTERN private lessons.

Put down the screens for some hands-on learning outside! Learn how to care for and ride a horse. Horse Club is the place to meet peers who love animals and want to learn about horses. Each of the five weeks of horse club has a fun theme and opportunities to learn about various aspects of horsemanship. From breeds to anatomy to riding disciplines, horse club covers it all. The first four weeks the kids will ride in a riding lesson while they build skills for their trail ride during week five! Horse club is for children ages 8-12.

We have many options for riding parties for children aged 8+ and adults. We know that horseback riding and pony parties can be a memorable experience for your family and friends to celebrate and we look forward to working with you to help tailor your party based on your needs! Prices start at $55 per participant. When booking your party please book a rain date as well as we are an out-door only facility.
Grooming class is an add-on option that can be added to your party. The class is a half hour long and takes place during your 2 hour party time. There is no limit to how many kids can participate in the Horsemanship Class. During the class your kids will learn about safety with horses and how to brush and take care of a horse or pony. (Ask about our Unicorn option)
